Kapalua
Kapalua, located on the Northwest coast of Maui, is one of Maui's premier resort areas. The area features views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i. The 23,000-acre, master-planned Kapalua Resort is the main focus of the area, which is built on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains on land formerly devoted to the cultivation of pineapple.
The volcanic coastline features dramatic vistas, with the stark contrast of the rugged volcanic rock sheltering numerous world-class beaches, fantastic snorkeling and some of the best surfing in Hawaii.
Host of the renouned Kapalua Wine & Food Festival in June, and the Hyndai Tournament of Champions, in January, there is always something exciting to enjoy in this special corner of the world.
